About

The Photography Club is aimed at people who would like to get more than just snap shots out of their cameras.

We bring along our photographs to share and discuss practical ways of improvement and the technical issues involved in digital photography.  We look at the various kinds of cameras and equipment or explore the many different genres open to the photographer, offering help and advice.  Alternate meetings are usually  practical sessions where we try out techniques, take photographs, or do some editing and printing.

The club is open to anyone interested in digital photography; at the moment we are concentrating on getting the best out of digital compact cameras.

If you are interested in joining or just having a look at what we do, drop in at one of our  meetings on a Friday morning.  We meet on the 1st and 3rd Fridays each month. If you are not yet acquainted with digital cameras or are still using film please feel free to come along too. If you would like to bring along some examples of your photographs, either prints or images stored on a USB memory stick can be shared with the group.

We are part of the Mill End Community Trust.  See the website  www.millendcommunitytrust.org
