The summer has finally arrived and it’s tempting us to get out with our cameras. What can be more satisfying than getting that spontaneous outdoor portrait. Nice bright sunshine can give the photographer a hard time when taking shots of family and friends. The sunlight can cause hard shadows or cause your subject to squint. If you have your camera set to ‘Auto’ the bright light may result in a small aperture setting, providing you with a great depth of field but an in-focus background. There are quite a few things to think about.
Our session on Friday 29th July will look at techniques and equipment to help get really good family and friend portraits this summer, so come along with your camera and join in.
We will also spend a little time reviewing recent photos from our portrait and Cassiobury Park shoots and any other interesting photographs taken recently.
