The holiday season is here. It’s time to dig out your camera, if you are not already using it. Make sure you know how to use the basic settings, look at the instruction manual if you can’t remember. Find your battery charger and remember to pack it. Get a couple of spare memory cards; enough to keep you going for the duration of your holiday. Shoot in high-definition or better still RAW, if your camera is able to, so you can edit them later. You may be lucky enough to get that shot of a lifetime, but don’t worry too much about that, after all you are on holiday. Let your shots tell the story of your trip and think about how you will display them when you get home.
Our next meeting on Friday 1st July will be about sharing hints and tips for taking better photos on holiday. A few reminders on camera settings, composition and the basic kit you need to travel light.
